Wolverine Lake Chalet is located on top of Wolverine Mountain , huge glass fronted homes allow you to enjoy spectacular views of pristine Wolverine Lake and the Chugach Mountain Range , Matanuska Peak , and the Lazy Mountain Range . Hiking areas are literally out your front door. Wolverine Lake is a private 55 acre lake , it is the only lake in the Valley that has Native Rainbow Trout , Dolly Varden , Grayling , and Salmon late in the season . So grab the fishing gear and a boat provided free for your use while you stay with us . Other activites here at Wolverine Lake Chalet are  horseshoes , archery , badminton , 3 campfire areas , hot tub , fishing dock , picnic tables ,  pool table , board games , arcade games . ATV's can be rented at a reasonable price , and Horseback riding for experienced riders only can  also be  rented for a reasonable rate ...............Centrally located, staying at Wolverine Lake Chalet allows you to see both spectacular Denali Park to the north, and glacier and wildlife cruise the beautiful and rugged Alaskan coastline to the south.  We are family friendly, and do not charge per person like many other lodges.  And, there are many budget friendly and exciting local activities! Discounts can be had thru Wolverine Lake Chalet from your car rental at the Anchorage Airport. to flying over and even landing on Denali, guided fishing on other waterways , whale and glacier cruises , white water rafting , glacier hiking , railroad tours..if you can think of it ..we can get you a discount.
