Alaska is renowned for its pristine waters and many native species of fish including salmon, rainbow and lake trout, arctic char, dolly varden grayling, and more! Saltwater fishermen can bring home halibut, rockfish, and the many other species that abound in Alaskan waters.
Five Pacific salmon species spawn and have directed fisheries in Alaska:
Sockeye or "Red" Salmon
Pink Salmon or "Humpy"
Chum or "Dog" salmon
Chinook or "King" Salmon
Coho or "Silver" Salmon

A fishing license is required and adherence to regulations and limits apply to Wolverine Lake and all Alaska waters. Wolverine Lake is closed to fishing April 15-June 14.
